| 摘 要： | 异化与归化的争论由来已久.两者问的矛盾实际上就是直译与意译之争的一种延续.本文从语言、文化、读者三个层面进行分析,指出异化是总的趋势,归化是补充手段.译者应尽可能地采用异化译法,只有当异化译法行不通时,方可退而求其次--采用归化译法.

| Abstract: | Alienation versus adaptation,a heated topic for deb ate,is viewed as a continuation of the disputes over the method of literal trans lation and that of free translation. Based on a tentative analysis from the pers pectives of language,culture and readers,this paper holds alienation will be an irreversible trend in translation whereas adaptation is only a complementary mea ns. Therefore,a translator should exert his utmost to employ the strategy of ali enation in his work and he can only turn to adaptation when the former is out of the question. |
