抗战时期的侨务政策与华侨的历史作用

抗战时期,国民政府采取比较务实的侨务政策,在继承孙中山保侨方针基础上,加强与海外华人华侨的联系,号召华侨支援祖国抗战。太平洋战争爆发后,政府又号召华侨参加所在国反法西斯战争。国民政府以维护侨民权益、吸引侨资支援抗战为核心的侨务政策,有力推动了华侨抗日救亡运动。由于战时环境与国内政治等因素的影响,国民政府的侨务政策后期趋于消极保守,然而总体上仍有一定积极意义。

The Nationalist Government's Wartime Overseas Chinese Policy and the Role of the Overseas Chinese in the Anti-Japanese War

During the anti-Japanese war,the Nationalist government adopted some practical and appropriate overseas Chinese policies.Succeeding to Dr.Sun Yatsen's policy of protecting the overseas Chinese' rights and interests,the Nationalist government continued to strengthen its ties with the overseas Chinese and called upon them to support their motherland during the war. The policy aroused the patriotic enthusiasm of overseas Chinese and played a very significant role in WWII.Though the Nationalist government became more passive and conservative in its treatment of the overseas Chinese in the later stage, it had nevertheless adopted some proper policies and had had some positive influence on the whole.
