| Abstract: | The theory of balance of power is one of the two major pillars of Realism in the Western school of international relations. The balance of power is the factor that has always played a role in international politics. Many countries use this principle to serve their national interestsons. In order to strengthen our understanding of contemporary international politics, this paper deals with five aspects of the rational kernel of the balance of power theory. |
