| Abstract: | An appellation is a language phenomenon which is dense with cultural color and context. It interacts and interpenetrates with its related national culture and shows the nation's specific national psychology and modes of thinking. Through the analysis of differences between Chinese and English appellations, this paper offers a retrospective review of the difference between Chinese and English modes of thinking. |
