With the development of industrialization,the rise of feminism and the supports of government,the British women's higher education rose gradually in the late 19th century.The process of the rise of British women's higher education is longer and painstaking.This article made an analysis of the background and the situation of the rise of British women's higher education and the problems of gender equality in the late 19th century,in order to provide some inspirations for Chinese women's higher education.
