城市“宜居”，于今为烈

“宜居城市”,有城市以来,人类千百年来持久不懈的追求和奋斗。“宜居城市”,一个古老又“于今为烈”的国际性话题,特别是关系到中国城市能否可持续发展的大话题。中国的宜居城市,首先应该是有地方特色、民族特色,既是现代的,又是中国人的———对于中国人,它有着文化传统的延续与弘扬、发展,对于世界各国的人们,它又是人类文明所共有的文化创造;其次,它应是生态环境被精心规划设计且被精心呵护的,它让所有的人都能在这样的城市感受到生活的愉悦。因而,它是“回到人性与公民性,回到土地,回到人们日常的需要,使人重新获得诗意的栖居”的城市。这就是城市的可持续发展。

Since cities appeared,men have been striving for amenity cities.An amenity city,which is more valued today,is an old topic internationally discussed and it concerns the continual development of the Chinese cities.In the first place,an amenity city in China should be characterized by its local flavor and its national flavor.It is modern and Chinese-like.To Chinese people,it exhibits the continuity of China's cultural tradition,while to the outside world,it witnesses a cultural creation of human civilizations.Secondly,it should be carefully planned,designed and cared for,pleasing everyone living in it.Therefore,it is a city of going back to humanity and citizenship,to the land,to everyday needs and a city enabling people to regain poetic feelings.That is a city's sustainable development.
