Analysis on the Social and Economic Problems in America in the 1920s

The 1920s is one of the most important periods in the American history during which its e-conomy grew by leaps and bounds. However, at the time of economic prosperity in the 1920s, a series of social and economic problems arose due to the firm belief in conservatism and the execution of unrestrained and indulgent economic policies. Such problems as severe imbalance of distribution of national income, tax policies favorably inclined to the rich and serious prevailing tax evasion, twisted high tariff policies, crazy monetary speculation, etc., caused great instability in American economic prosperity which continuously shocked the basis of its prosperous economy in 1920s and directly resulted in the great depression in the 1930s.
