文学的修辞批评之中西比较

中西修辞学都发端于对口语交际的研究,但中国修辞学对文学的关注要比西方修辞学早得多。在对文学的修辞批评方面,西方多强调"说服",而中国更注重"表现";西方重在接受,而中国重在表达;西方侧重作品,而中国还兼及作者;西方突出程序,而中国还考虑过程。在方法上,西方长于论理,中国长于感悟。然而,中国的修辞批评失之零散与玄虚,而西方的修辞批评失之宽泛与偏激。因此,未来文学的修辞批评,必须对中西修辞学及修辞批评理论进行合理取舍,建立全新的科学体系。

The comparision of rhetorical criticism of literature between China and the West

Both Chinese and Western rhetoric started with the research on oral communication.But Chinese rhetoric concerned with literature earlier than the West.In the criticism of literary rhetoric,The West emphasizes"persuasion"while China "display";The West stresses acceptance while China expression;The West pays attention to works while China writers;The West protrudes the program while China course.The West is good at theory while China realization.But Chinese rhetorical criticism is too piecemeal while the western too extensive.So in future,the rhetorical criticism of literature should accept or reject both Chinese and Western theory of rhetorical criticism reasonably,in order that a new scienlific system will be built.
