论民盟在维护第二次国共合作中的重要贡献

抗战后期及其全面内战爆发前后,作为国共两党以外最大的党派--中国民主同盟,在坚持团结抗战、反对投降分裂,坚持和平民主、反对独裁内战的立场上,为争取抗战胜利以及维持国内和平民主、避免全面内战而积极奔走,为调解国共两党时张时驰的紧张关系、维护第二次国共合作作出了重要贡献。

Important Contribution by China Democratic League in the Second Kuomintang-Communist Cooperation

In the latter stage of the Anti-Japanese War and before and after the breakout of the allround civil war, China Democratic League, the third largest party after the Kuomintang and CPC, insisted on unity in resistance against Japanese aggression, objected to surrendering and splitting, adhered to peace and democracy, and opposed to the dictatorship and civil war. In order to strive for the victory, maintain domestic democracy, and avoid the overall civil war, the League took active measures and made important contributions in maintaining the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.
