| 摘 要： | 本文分析了港澳回归前夕粤语在广东省语言生活中的地位及其对其他方言区的影响，同时也注意到回归前夕港澳地区的学习普通话热。认为港澳回归将使粤语的影响速度减慢，普通话的影响力将增强，是广东推广普通话的大好时机。文章结尾部分对广东的推普工作提出了6点建设性的意见。 |

| Abstract: | This paper makes an analysis of the position of Cantonese in the linguistic life in Guangdong Province and its influence upon other dialectal regions with due attention paid to the fever of Putonghua (standard Chinese pronunciation) learning in the eve of the return of Hong Kong and Macao.It isconsidered that the return of Hong Kong and Macao will lessen the influence of Cantonese and enhance theinfluence of Putonghua, thereby providing a golden opportunity for the popularization of Putonghua. Finally, the author puts forward six constructive proposals for practical application in this field. |
