《西国近事汇编》传播的西方经济学思想

《西国近事汇编》是洋务运动时期由江南机器制造局翻译馆主办的惟一一份周刊,采用原始文献分析法研究了《西国近事汇编》传播的西方经济学思想。该刊在《东西洋考每月统计传》开辟经济贸易专栏和《遐迩贯珍》论述自由贸易重要性的基础之上,首次系统传播近代西方财政管理思想,首次全面传播近代西方政府调控经济的思想,把西方的专利保护制度、金融资本的魅力、国际贸易的两面性等经济思想引入中国,大规模地传播近代西方经济学思想及其实际运用,在中国近代期刊传播史上具有里程碑的意义,在中国新闻传播史上具有重要的地位。

Western Economics Thoughts Transmitted by Summary of Foreign Events

Adopting the method of original literature analysis,this thesis studies the western economics thoughts transmitted by Summary of Foreign Events,the only weekly periodical hosted by Jiangnan Manufacture Generan Bureau Translation House in the period of Westernization Movement.Based on the economic and trade special column pioneered by Eastern Western Monthly Magazine and the importance of free trade demonstrated by The Chinese Serial,the periodical,for the first time,systematically spread modern western financial management thoughts.And it also firstly transmitted the thoughts of government macro-regulation comprehensively.In addition,some western economic systems and theories such as patent protection,the advantages of financial capital as well as the dual characters of international trade were introduced into China by this periodical as well.While transmitting modern western economics theories on a large scale,it also attached significant importance to spreading their practical applications.Therefore,Summary of Foreign Events is a landmark in Chinese modern history of periodical communication,and enjoys a significant position in Chinese history of journalism and communication.
