中西方男女平等之路述评

中西方的妇女解放运动长期以来都是在“男女平等”的口号下进行的。中西方在追求男女平等的过程中出现了两条路径:一条是忽视甚至否认两性之间的生理差异;另一条路径是承认并重视男女两性间的差异,要求给予处于弱势地位的女性更多的照顾。两条路径在理论和实践过程中遇到的困境,使“平等”概念使用的合理性值得质疑,应该提出新的概念以突破“男女平等”口号的桎梏。

The commentary of Gender Equality in China and the West

Women's liberation,in China or in the Western nations,have been proceding with the catchword of "gender equality" for a long time.There are two ways to achieve the equality.One way is to neglect or deny the bisexual differences in physics.The other is to accept and attach importance to the bisexual differences,and give more cares to the females who are at weak positions.These two ways have been meeting dilemmas in practice,and the rationality of the concept of "equality" has already aroused doubts.A new concept to break through the shackles of the catchword of "equality" should be put forward.
