| Abstract: | As a representative work of the early southern operas, the traditional opera, Zhang Xie-No. 1 Scholar, is one of the few plays that can really reflect the features of the early southern opera. It is of great value in Chinese opera studies, linguistics and culturology. It is worthy of attaching attention to and putting more efforts to the research work in this opera. |
