| Abstract: | Language is a magical art. In our teaching of Chinese to foreigners, stress should be laid on the analysis of Chinese words, the cultural meaning, the development of the function words and the use of expressions. It is not enough to teach the students to use the language correctly, but we must also tell them how to use the language in an appropriate way, which requires at the same time explanations of inner laws of the Chinese language. |
