20世纪贾宝玉研究综述

Overview on JIA Bao-yu Research in the 20th Century

In the past 20th century, numerous researchers made presentation and analysis to the image of JIA Bao-yu from different angles in varying methods.In the opinion of the scholars who prefer seeking origins in the work,he is SHUN Zhi,YIN Ren.From the view of new groups who study Red Mansions ,he is the writer CAO Xue-qin himself.In the viewpoit of critics about literature,he is "a rebel","an unnecessary man","a playboy","a nomosexual person",he is infatuaed with girls,he was born to love them,and so on.His ideas,including the viewpoint on feelings and love,the influence by ZHUANG Zi,the Chan sect were discussed actively in succession for hundreds of years.It is difficult for distinct opinions to reach the agreement.Maybe it is the reason why JIA Bao-yu still attracts so many people to explore,why his eternal fasnication throngh time and space is still one of the focuses till now.At the beginning of new century,I think,to summarize the achievement of last century will play an active role in the development of this field in future.
