| 摘 要： | 《马氏文通》是主张“字无定类”的。但是近60年来一直有学者认为《马氏文通》也主张“字有定类”，或者说《马氏文通》既主张“字无定类”又主张“字有定类”。其实．《马氏文通》中只有“字无定类”说，而根本没有“字有定类”说。《马氏文通》既然主张“字无定类”，它就不可能再主张“字有定类”。

| Abstract: | Ma＇s Grammar （Ma Shi Wen Tong） asserts that ＂word is of no definite category＂. But in recent sixty years, several scholars claim that Ma＇s Grammar （Ma Shi Wen Tong） asserts that ＂word is of definite category＂ or both ＂word is of definite category＂ and ＂word is of no definite category＂. In fact, Ma＇s Grammar （Ma Shi Wen Tong） only asserts that ＂word is of no definite category＂; never ＂word is of definite category＂. There exists no possibility that such a contradictory assertion is proposed in Ma＇s Grammar （Ma Shi Wen Tong）. |
