摘    要:以传授词汇知识为重心的传统的词汇教学方式是造成大学生记忆词汇无方的主要原因,这已经引起了众多英语教师的关注,成为一个亟待解决的问题。词素构词是一种全新的构词理念,指的是所有单词都是由一个或一个以上的词素构成的,探讨词素构词规律及其在大学英语词汇教学中的作用能为词汇教学改革提供新的视角与启示。

Abstract:The traditional vocabulary teaching, which put emphasis on vocabulary knowledge, led to the result that the students haven' t acquired any skills to memorize new words. It caused the universal concern from many English teachers. Word - formation of morpheme is a fresh theory in which all the words consist of one or more than one morpheme. The discussion on word - formation of morpheme and an important role it plays in English vocabulary teaching involves us in pondering deeply over vocabulary teaching reform from another perspective.
