Abstract:Song of Youth is a case of typical female writing. Yang Mo's delicate style of writing sheds light on the psychological implications and cultural functions of revolution. Below its grand husk of justice, there's secret satisfaction of human's various desires. In psychological sense, revolution is an image full of fantasies. Moreover, Lin Daojing's passions of revolution involve unconscious female desires: obedience to male values, fleeing from freedom and masochism, which are developed in women's long oppressed history.
Keywords:female writing  revolution  masochism
