我国互联网扩散之地区差异的影响因素探究

基于创新扩散理论,对我国互联网扩散的地区不平衡状况及其影响因素进行了初步探索。研究采用基尼系数概念来描述互联网发展的地区不平衡,并通过回归分析探究影响互联网扩散的关键因素。研究发现,近年来我国的互联网发展的地区差距在不断缩小,其差异程度逐渐和经济发展水平的差异程度接近。而决定中国不同省份之间互联网扩散差异的主要因素是随着时间推移而有所变化的。在扩散的早期阶段,经济因素(人均GDP)具有显著影响;随着扩散过程的继续,其他因素如消费结构和生活方式也对互联网扩散有一定程度的作用。

A Research on the Determinants of Geographical Difference of Internet Diffusion in China

Based on the theory of innovation diffusion,the present research attempts to investigate the determinants of uneven diffusion of the Internet across China.The basic analytical tool employed is Gini Coefficient,with which the degree of uneven development of the Internet among different provinces can be reflected.A linear regression analysis is then conducted in order to find out the significant factors related to the phenomenon under study.It is found out that the gaps in terms of the Internet penetration among different areas in China are narrowing in recent years,and the geographical divides are gradually akin to those of economic development.The key factors that affect the difference of the Internet penetration among different areas are somehow changing with time.In the early stage of the Internet penetration,economic factor proves to be the most significant;as the diffusion continues,however,other factors such as consumptive structure and residents'lifestyle begin to function in the diffusion of the Internet.
