| Abstract: | This paper reviews the research on the modern economic history in China in 2003 and deems that the research manifests four characteristics:1.The coalescence of social history and economic history has become the main trend;2.Comparative research of regional economy has been strengthened;3.The research has been showing a tendency of segmentalization;4.The effect of the state on economy has been taken full account of. |
