城市节奏的演进与近代上海公共交通的结构变迁

开埠以后,随着城市社会经济的发展,近代上海城市节奏不但明显加快,而且逐渐形成了一定空间和时间规律。正是基于这种日常活动节奏的变化,城市公共交通结构也由传统人力交通工具逐渐向现代机动公共交通方式转变。但由于近代上海长期存在的二元社会经济结构的特征,公共交通结构的转型经历了一个艰难而漫长的过程。

The Quickening Pace of City and Structural Change in Modern Shanghai Public Transportation

Ever since the opening of its port, and with the development of the city's social economy, modern Shanghai not only quickened its pace, but also formed gradually some law of time and space. It was on such changes of daily life activities that the public transportation structure changed accordingly from traditional man-power transportation means to modern vehicles in public transportation. Nevertheless, owing to the features of a long-time existed dual structure of social economy, the transformation of public transportation structure has experienced a long and arduous process.
