A Basic Study about the Effect of Male Teachers in Kindergartens

In pre-school education, it is an undisputable fact that teacher gender remains unbalanced. Many researchers think it is necessary to add male teachers in this field. But, much of the debate about the gender imbalance in pre-school education profession has been limited by reliance on empirical evidences rather than on rhetoric. The purpose of this paper is to find some empirical evidences about male teachers in pre-school education. The article concludes with suggestions for future research.
