| 摘 要： | idiom是一种特殊的语言现象,是劳动人民集体智慧的结晶,它具有生动、形象、精练等特点,它的意义有别于一般词语,其整体意义和各成分意义之间往往具有一定的偏离,这就给人们的理解带来了一定的困难。针对这一问题提出切莫望文生义、不可与汉语类比等同、采用逆向分析、运用联想法、考察词源等应对办法,以助idiom的理解。

| Abstract: | Idiom is a special kind of language phenomenon, a crystalization of collective wisdom of people. It is characterized by vividness, image and concision. Its meaning differs from ordinary words and phrases. Its whole meaning usually deviates from that of the addition of its different parts. This causes some difficulties for people to understand idiom. The author puts forward some ways to deal with this problem and help to understand the meaning of idiom: not take the words too literally, not interpret it as analogy in Chinese, use association and converse analysis, trace the origin of words. |
