| 摘 要： | "生活化英语"遇到的最大挑战就是如何处理"文化—工具"关系,"文化动机"强调语言学习是文化"习得"(acquisition)活动,而非机械"学习"(learning)活动,但在"工具动机"下,"生活化英语"被当成是一种更好的急功近利的教学手段。如何回归"生活化英语"教学的本来面目?本文认为,英语教学要以学生为中心,而不是将英语强行"灌输"或"转移"给学生,要抛弃教师表现比学生表现更能影响学生学习的观点。在目前情况下,主张借助"工具动机"来摆脱"工具动机",最终督促英语教学向语言文化回归,向生活化知识回归,在文化情境中掌握英语。
