Thoughts and Practice in the Teaching Reform of the Course of The Structure of Matter

This article sets out to formulate models for teaching reform for the course "the Structure of Matter" in chemistry depertments in teachers colleges of a 3-year system with in view its present situation, especially its goal of teaching. Years of experience by the author in teaching this course is given here and insights thus gained are expounded with regards to improving the knowledge structure of the teaching materials, to highlighting the practicality of the content taught, as well as to emphasizing the introduction of the history of chemistry and methodology so as to cultivate the students' ability.
