从心性论看朱熹对佛学思想的吸收与融会

佛教传入中国后,历经两晋、南北朝和隋唐,到宋代依然得到较大发展。佛教的发展一方面说明了佛教对中国固有文化的妥协,另一方面也展示了佛学理论思辩性强的特点,这突出表现在它的佛性论方面。理学集大成者朱熹尽管也和宋代其他士人一样,对佛教展开了批判,但由于他认识到了佛学心性思想的可取之处,在批佛的过程中,灵活地采取了明排佛学、暗窃佛学的方式,对佛教的佛性论进行了吸收改造,从而发展完善了自己的心性思想。朱熹的心性思想使儒家心性论达到了完备的程度,对后世产生了广泛而深远的影响。

On Zhu Xi''''s Assimilation and Integration of Buddhist Thought from the Perspective of the Theory of Mind-Nature

After it was Introduced into China in the East Han,Buddism went through many a historical periods of Wei,Jin,South and North Dynasties and Tang Dynasty and vigorously developed in the Song Dynasty.The development of Buddism indicates not only the Buddism's compromise to traditional Chinese culture but the speculative characteristic of Buddist thought,particulary the Mind-Na ture theory as well.Zhu Xi,the leading figure of the Mentalism in the Song and Tang Dynaties,like many other intellectuals in Song Dynasty,severely criticized the Buddism.However,being aware of the advantages of the Mind-Nature theory in Buddism,by refusing the Buddism explicitly and accepting it inwardly,Zhu Xi assimilated and remoulded the Buddha Nature theory and eventually improved his own theory of Mind-Nature.Zhu's theory of Mind-Nature perfects the Confucian Mind-Nature theory and exerts a tremendous in fluence on later ages.
