On Important Motivation of Regional Industrial Policy's Convergence:The Utility of Local Government

In the development of regional economy, increasing competition between local governments will inevitably cause convergence of industrial policies among the regions. It is harmful to the coordinated development and long-term development of regional economy. To resolve these problems, we should improve the level of the central government＇s macroeconomic control, strengthen the boundary between rights and responsibilities of local governments, and advise them to reflect differences in regional industrial policies.
