倾斜的方法论天平——客观主义方法论存疑

客观主义与相对主义这两种研究方法自从西方哲学发端以来一直存在着,并没有得到很好的解决。把二者对立起来的做法是不可取的,在研究当中应该有选择地侧重于客观主义或相对主义的方法。在方法的选择上,要根据研究对象和研究目的不同,有所侧重地综合运用客观主义和相对主义这两种研究方法。在研究当中,对于变化较慢、界限范围清晰的社会事实,可侧重于采用客观主义的方法,而对于变化较快、界限范围模糊的社会事实,则可侧重于采用相对主义的方法,从而对社会事实做出更加合理的说明和解释。

Imbalanced use of methodologies: a discussion on the method of objectivism

The methods of objectivism and relativism have existed since the very beginning of western philosophy,yet no solution has been found to well coordinate the use of the two methods.It is not advisable to set one against another.Depending on the research object and research purpose,emphasis may be given to either objectivism or relativism.For the phenomenon that can be easily defined and changes slowly,more use of objectivism is recommended,and for the phenomenon that is not easy to be defined and changes quickly,more use of relativism is recommended,so that reasonable explanation can be arrived at for social phenomena.
