英汉语言中几种常见修辞格的异同初探

英汉两种语言中都有多种修辞格,并且很多辞格相同或十分相似。但是,由于历史、文化、风俗习惯及语言本身的发展不同,同一种类辞格在英汉语中也有很多差异。将对英汉语中几种常见辞格的异同进行分析比较,有利于深对英语语言和英美文化的了解,提高英语理解能力和翻译水平。

A PRELIMILARY INQUIRY INTO THE SIMILARITY AND THE DIFFERENCE OF SEVERAL COMMON FIGURES OF SPEECH IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE

There are many figures of speech in both English and Chinese ,and most of them are identical or quite similar. However,there are still many different points in English and Chinese figures of speech of the same kind because of the different history ,culture,custom and development of the languages themselves.Analyses and comparisons of the similarity and the difference for the several common figures of speech in English and Chinese will be conducted in this article in order to obtain a deep understanding of English language and British and American culture,and improve our English comprehension and translation ability.
