4─ 5世纪是罗马帝国奴隶制解体向封建制过渡的历史时期 ,在帝国内部形成了新的社会思想和经济观念。奥古斯丁在《上帝之城》中反映了他的社会经济观点、上帝城与世俗城的关系、上帝城的伦理道德规范 ,社会等级观念以及教权至上等新思想、新观念。这些反映的是一种新的基督教世界观 ,体现了神权政体的中世纪国家的特征 ,它是在古代文化危机的基础上萌生出来的一种新的世界观 ,即中世纪的世界观

The Soecial Nature of Augustine's Christian World Outlook

It was the transition period for the Roman Empire from the slave system to feudal system in the 4 and5 century. Some new thoughts and ideas were born, Augustine expressed some of them in the City of God. We found that in City of God the special nature of Christian world outlook of Augustine was actually medieval theocracy nation through the analysis to his social and economic thoughts, to the relation between the city of God and the city of secular, to the moral principles, to the idea of social estate system and supreme of pope right etc. All above reflected a kind of new Christian world outlook of Middle ages.
