| Abstract: | Language reflects culture,and culture is expressed through language.The aim of college English is to train the college students' listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating skills.Meanwhile,it is necessary to introduce the related cultural background knowledge into the college English teaching.It can help the college students better understand the western culture and improve their ability to use English and communicative competence. |
