专门用途英语观照下高职公共英语课程定位及课程设计研究

摘    要:本文从专门用途英语分类研究入手,提出对乔丹两分法进一步细分,将其职业用途英语细分为专门职业用途英语和职业共核技能英语。同时,从广东工程职业技术学院公共英语课程选用的系列教材出发,结合高职英语教育理念及专门用途英语理论,提出高职公共英语课程应定位为专门用途英语中的职业用途英语下的职业共核技能英语教育。

Abstract:This paper, starting from the study of classification of English for specific purposes, puts forward further subdivision of the Jordan dichotomy, subdivides English for occupational purposes into English for special occupations and English for occupation common core skills. At the same time, starting from the series of teaching materials adopted by public English course in Guangdong Engineering Polytechnic, combining with the idea of higher vocational English education and the theory of English for specific purposes, puts forward that public English course in higher vocational colleges core skills under English for occupation should be defined as English for occupation common purposes in English for special purposes.
