SWOT Analysis on Enrolment Strategy of Southwest Jiaotong University

Because of the expansion of university enrolment, one track system for tuition fee, western development strategy and the mergence of universities, the enrolment of Southwest Jiaotong University faces both opportunities and threats from the outer environment. Its inner advantages lie in the long history, feature specialties, rich teacher resources, and advanced management system; while the weaknesses lie in moving and disparting several times, narrow specialties, unreasonable distributing of specialties, lack of sense and ability to establish public relationship. To build up the enrolment strategy mode with SWOT analysis would be of strategic significance for further development of enrolment.
