摘    要:学习英语不单单是学习英语语言知识,还要学习有关的文化背景知识.这一点已成为英语教师的共识.新修订的<大纲>明确提出了"注意提高文化素养"的要求.因此,大学英语教学需要导入文化信息.文章从教与学两个角度,提出了文化信息导入的必要性;从词汇、语句、语篇三个层面讨论了如何在大学英语教学中进行文化信息的导入以及应注意的问题.

Abstract:Students are to acquire linguistic knowledge of English as well as the relevant cultural background, which has become the opinion shared by teachers of college English. The newly revised syllabus requires the introduction of cultural information into college English teaching. Viewing from the angles of teaching and learning, this article talks about the necessity of introducing cultural information into college English teaching; how to do with the cultural information lying in words, sentences and texts.
