个人主义与"五四"文学

“五四”新文化先驱对个人主义的推崇 ,是同提倡新道德反对旧道德、提倡新文学反对旧文学紧密结合在一起的。“五四”文学精神的生成、题材与主题的取向、表现手法和艺术风格的取舍与变化 ,都同个人主义思潮的影响有直接和间接的联系。随着中国文学出现“从文学革命到革命文学”的方向性转变 ,个人主义思潮受到了集体主义思潮的猛烈攻击 ,中国文学中的“个人”和“我”也开始受到质疑 ,逐渐为“群众”和“我们”所代替

Individualism and the May 4th Literature

During the May 4th Movement, the cherish of the new cultural pioneers for individualism is closely related to the doctrine of "advocating new moral values and opposing old moral values, advocating new literature and rejecting old literature". The emergence of the May 4th literary spirit, the orientations of subject matter and theme, and the choice and change of artistic expression and style are either immediately or indirectly connected with the influence of individualism. With the directional change "from the literary revolution to revolutionary literature", individualism was attacked fiercely by collectivism, and "the individual" and "I" in modern Chinese literature began to be questioned, gradually replaced by "the masses" and "we".
