沈德潜与“格调”说辨析

尽管在已有的相关研究中，沈德潜诗歌思想常常被不言而喻地定位为“格调”说，但从其对自己诗歌思想的描述，对“格”、“调”，以及“格调”等概念的使用，对诗歌“复古”“关乎人伦日用及古今成败兴坏之故……所谓其言有物也”，而非体格声调、兴象风神的强调，以及对明诗的价值判断等方面看，沈德潜与“格调”说实有巨大差异。沈德潜对明诗，对明代的“格调”，所持乃反思态度，而非一脉相承。
