大学理念的演变与思考

摘    要:自1999年以来,大学理念成为专家学者十分关注的一个话题.大学理念是关于大学的基本性质、理想模式、目标追求、社会责任方面的系统思想,它经过了一个演变的过程.该文探讨了中国古代教育思想的形成,近代西方大学理念的产生,以及现代大学理念的发展,发现在各个时期形成的办学思想及大学理念中,有一些不变的基本内涵,这与中国目前所倡导的素质教育有相似之处.因此提出,大学理念不是空洞的说教,不是贴在显眼位置上的标签,而应当扎扎实实地与素质教育结合起来,为教育教学和人才培养模式改革服务.

Abstract:The university concept, becoming a topic experts and scholars are very interested in since 1999, is about the basic feature, ideal model, seeking objective and social responsibility of a university, which has experienced an evolutionary process. This paper explores and discusses the formation of the Chinese ancient educational thinking, the origin of modern western concepts of a university and the development of its contemporary ideas, finds out that there are some firm basic connotations in the thought for running a university in every period of time. All of which is similar to the quality education advocated at present. Then, this paper puts forward that the ideas of a university should not be an empty sermon, or a label stuck on in a conspicuous place, but should be combined with quality education to serve the talent fostering.
