台湾在日本对外战略中的地位——从“利益线”到“生命线”

在近代日本的大陆政策中,台湾是日本"利益线"的重要一环;在当今一部分日本人的心目中,台湾又成了日本的"生命线"。在"利益线"与"生命线"之间,有什么内在联系呢?战后以来,日本政府在各种场合,从未明确表示过"台湾是中国领土不可分割的一部分"。这为二者之间的内在联系作了最好的注释,那就是:在日本的国家对外战略中,台湾从未失去其重要位置。

The Strategic Positions of Taiwan in Japan's Foreign Diplomacy: from "Line of Benefit" to "Line of Survival"

Within all the contemporary Japan's Continental Policy, Taiwan plays an important part in its "line of benefit". According to today's viewpoints, Taiwan has become Japan's "line of survival". Between these two lines, what are the connections then? Since the War, Japan has never, on any occasions, publicly expressed that "Taiwan is one part of the indispensable land of China", which, however, makes a perfect annotation to the relation. In other words, Taiwan has never lost its strategic position in Japan's foreign strategy.
