| Abstract: | Major issues in agricultural extension services at present are analysed, and the countermeasures in new era are proposed as follows. (1) The related policies should be implemented to keep stable agricultural technology extension services. (2) The perfect agricultural technology extension system should be set up. (3) Agricultural extension investment should be increased. (4) Knowledge renewal and training of the staff should be strengthened. (5)Farmers' quality in science, technology and culture should be enhanced. (6) Perfect information network in agricultural science and technology should be established. |
