| Abstract: | Through analysing the relationships between economic development and political democratization, market economy and political democracy construction, and coordination between reforms of the political and economic system, this article highly praises Deng Xiaoping's creative thinking on, and resolution of, the problems in the reforms of the political and economic system. It strongly appeals for further reforms of the political system that adapt well to the ongoing reforms of the market - oriented economy in China. |
