Facing the east China sea and bordering on the Yangtze River to the south,the region of Chongmin,Qidong and Haimen enjoys a distinct advantage in its location.If built into a new northern Shanghai district, this region will,in the first place,gratify the major cities within the Shanghai construction strip in their need for more development space and natural resources.Besides,it can help launch a new leap of the Yangtze River Delta,elevate the strategic position and increase the invesment returns of the central and northern regions of Jiangsu Province,and convert them to the basis supplying resources to Shanghai and absorbing the transferred industries from there.Supposedly as an integral part of the metropolitan of Shanghai,Chong Qi Hai Region can be built into one of its new district,situated in the north, which contains a harbour,a marine world,an international industrial zone,an ecotourism strip,and a cosmos residence.
