摘    要:在《太玄》赞辞中,扬雄运用生动形象的比喻,多角度地反复阐述了他的明君、贤臣思想:有道明君是一国兴旺、人民安乐的根本;贤臣必待明君而后出;明君能从谏如流。他祖述孔、孟,揉合老、庄,创见虽不多,但也从一个侧面反映了他对西汉末年君昏臣奸的政治局面的不满,这在当时是难能可贵的。

Abstract:In the eulogy of T'ai hsüan, Yang Hsiung makes use of vivid images to repeat his thought of wise king and virtuous court officials form many angles. It is widely accepted that the wise king is crucial for the prosperity of a nation and the well being of the people. The wise king comes first before the virtuous court officials, and he is ready to regard opposing views. He comment upon Confucius and Mencius, and simultaneously touches Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu. Although there is not much originality, it reflects from one aspect his resentment at the political situation of fatuous and self indulgent ruler and treacherous court officials, which was rare and commendable at that time.
