老子与亚里士多德“自然”概念之比较

老子和亚里士多德都将"自然"概念作为各自哲学的核心范畴之一,二者都对"自然"做出各自的规定,尽管他们的规定有些许相似,但存在很大差异。作为东西方哲学早期的两位代表,这些差异一定程度上反映了东西方哲学思维格局与思考重心的不同。

A Contrast between Lao Zi's" Nature" and That of Aristotle's

Both Lao Zi and Aristotle considered "nature" one of the core concepts in their philosophies,and each offered his own definition of it.Although their definitions are somewhat similar,great differences do exist between them.This paper argues that,since they are early representatives of the Eastern and Western philosophies,their different notions of "nature" partly reflect the diversities in thinking patterns and kernels of the Eastern and Western philosophies.
