A Study of the Problems in Construction of a Harmonious University Culture

A harmonious university culture should be fostered in the construction of a harmonious university. University culture, conceived in the university education environment, is the reflection of culture on campus and an effective medium through which college students＇ physical and mental quality can be comprehensively promoted. This paper elaborates the connotation and the characteristics of university culture, and brings home the significance and the mission of constructing a harmonious university culture. Based on an analysis of the disharmonious elements in university culture in the course of building up a harmonious society, it discusses the focal points and the strategy in developing a harmonious university culture.
