郭店儒简的重“情”论

The Thought of Advocating the Emotion from Guodian Confucian Bamboo Slips

The thought of advocating the emotion from Xingzimingchu(Nature comes out of life),a part of Guodian Confucian Bamboo Slips(GCBS),is representative of the thought about the nature of mind in early primitive Confucianism,namely,the Tao derived from the emotion.By contrasting observation of "the mutual respect between the emotion and the elegancy is righteousness" from GCBS and "the integrity of elegancy and refinement" advocated by Confucius,we can find that the emotion from Xingzimingchu was in fact derived from the Confucian tradition of advocating refinement,and also the natural outpouring of the true feelings implied in Confucius’ thought of benevolence.The understanding of the emotion implied in GCBS in this way can avail not only the profound revealing of the origin of the thought about the nature of mind from early Confucianism,but also the correct interpretation of the primitive documents of Confucianism in the period before the Qin Dynasty.
