| Abstract: | Mao's Preface to The Book of Songs elucidated The Book of Songs according to the mode of Confucian discourse and brought forward its own literature points that formed the basic structure of Confucian poetics which has influenced Chinese literary field for over a thousand years.The article discusses the reason of the formation of the power of the academic discourse of Mao's Preface to the Book of Songs and its influence over the Chinese literary development. |
