太平天国平等思想述要

太平天国的平等思想主要体现在敬奉上帝、领导人之间、组织安排、官员选拔、政务决策、司法制度、科举制度和妇女地位等方面 ,这既是对历代农民起义平等理想的继承和发展 ,更是清政府黑暗统治下的现实反映。同时 ,基督教、白莲教和天地会等教义中的某些平等思想也是其重要来源。由于农民意识的封建性 ,其平等思想不可避免地又带有很大的局限性。

A Brief Discussion on the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's Equality Thought

The Taiping Heavenly Kingdoms equality thought is demonstrated in the following: the respect to God, the relationship between leaders, organization and personnel, selection of officials, political decision, judicial system, imperial examination system, and the position of women, etc., which is an inheritance and development of the equality ideas of peasant uprisings in the past and is also a reflection of the dark ruling of the Qing Dynasty. Additionally, Christianity, "Bailianjiao" and "Tiandihui" are also the sources. However, this thought has great limitations because of the feudalist elements in peasant mentality.
