实现现代化是中国共产党始终奉行的奋斗目标之一,也是中国人民的理想与夙愿。党中央第一代领导集体,最早提出了实现“四个现代化”的目标,并进行了大胆的探索。党中央第二代领导集体,在继承四个现代化目标的基础上,坚持改革开放,提出“富强、民主、文明”的社会主义现代化目标。党中央第三代领导集体,在新形势下提出了建设中国特色社会主义政治、经济和文化的目标,实施科教兴国和可持续发展战略,全面建设小康社会。

From "Four Modernizations" to "Overall Building of Well-off Society"——The Party's inheritance and Innovation of the thoughts about the development target of modernization

To realize modernization has always been one of the targets of the Party,and a long-cherished ideal of Chinese people at the same time.The first generation of central leading body of the Party initiated the target of realizing "four modernizations" and explored daringly about it;the second generation,on the basis of inheriance,upheld reform and opening up policy and put forward the target of socialist modernization,namely,"prosperity,democracy,and civilization";the third generation,under the new situation,advances the target of building socialist politics,economy and culture with Chinese characteristics,and implements the policies of strengthening our country through science and technology education,the strategy of sustainable development,and the building of overall well-off society.
