刻意曲解及其形成机制

刻意曲解是日常交际中较常见的一种语言现象,它是指听话人为了达到某种交际意图而故意违反常规,曲解说话人的话,并作出相应的言语反应的会话过程。前人对刻意曲解的成因揭示的研究仍然存在一定的局限性,应该形成一个简单而统一的形成机制解释模型:在刻意曲解的形成过程中,说话人话语本身的经济性以及不确定因素诱发刻意曲解的产生;而听话人主观的交际意图则促使了刻意曲解的实现。话语本身是诱导因素,交际意图是促成因素,两者缺一不可。从说话人和听话人两个角度去解释刻意曲解的形成机制更能全面概括其形成的条件及过程。

Deliberate Misinterpretation and Its Formation Mechanism

Deliberate misinterpretation(DM) is a common linguistic phenomenon in our daily life.It refers to the dialogues in which the listener deliberately misinterprets the speakers’ words in order to fulfill his communication intention.Literature reviews indicate previous researches on its formation roots are quite limited.A formation mechanism model is needed to better explain how the DM is produced: the economicalness or uncertainness in the speaker’s words induces the formation of DM,while the listener’s communicate intention facilitates the realization of DM.The former is the inducing factor,and the later is the facilitating factor.Two factors work together to produce the DM,and not one of them can be dispensed with.
