中国传统哲学概观(一个论纲)

中国古代文明途径的特殊性制约着哲学智慧的产生和发展的特点，大致有三：力求“明天之际”，特重“通古今之变”，注意“穷性命之原”。这些特点集中表现为哲学的人本化。关于中国传统哲学的包容性与绵延性，贯串于传统哲学发展的“四大螺旋”过程中。中国的现代化，绝非欧风美雨的“冲击反应”，而有其根本的内在的根芽或活水源头。只有树立起“以我为主”的主体意识，才能善于吸收西方先进文化及其最新成果，并使之在中国文化思想土壤中生根。故必须认真探讨传统文化与现代化的历史接合问题。

A Survey of Chinese Traditional Philosophy (an Outline )

The particularity of the way for the Chinese ancient civilization to advance restricts its characteristics in the appearance and development of its philosophical wisdom. It includes three respects, whichrepresents the property of its humanism and ethic in philosophy. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage for its tradition. The character of the containing and stretchiness of the Chinese traditional philosophypenetrates through the course of "the four spirals", which has developed from generation to generation,and never breaks up. The Chinese modernization is not the result of reflecting the "strike" from the West,rather it has its own internal reason. Only setting up our independent consciousness of subject, can we begood at absorbing the Western culture, including its late fruition,and make it take root in the Chinese cultural thoughts. For the sake of this, we should research the problem of the coupling between the traditional culture and the modernization in China further.
